For no apparent reason, my Dazzle started working again. AR BTT abounds. --SDM Peach on (any but Peach and Young Link) 2.2.05.wmv --SDM Samus on (more than before, but still not all) 2.2.05.wmv --AR Mismatched BTT - Peach.wmv Also put the most recent Marc fight in the Awesome Index, website updated. And...new Ness record, with music. _____________________________________________________________________________ 3.2.05 I did pretty much all frame spreadsheets. Aerials, tilts, ledge stuff, jumps, grabs, check them out, DOOD. --Frames - thingy.xls Also, videos from BEEZO 5: The Death of Beezo, Teflon Climbers' last tournament. Twas cool, I netted $70 that day. Coincidentally, I salvaged a tape from Beezo 4, featuring me, Element of Fire, and Darkrain (omg). --Beezo 4 folder --Beezo 5 folder (fights have music intros!) The Awesome Index has been updated to include all these fights. --AwesomeIndex3.2.05.xls My website also has all this crap, but obviously not the videos. _____________________________________________________________________________ 2.15.05 I captured a lot of AR BTT and am sharing them. All Mario and some Samus, and I made a music video for Mario's. The individual vids are divided by character, but the music video is in my Entertainment folder since people who aren't particularly interested in BTT should find it enjoyable, too. --AR Mismatched BTT - Mario (high or low quality).mpg/wmv --SDM (charname) on (stage char) 2.2.05.wmv I also made some spreadsheets for smash attacks using frame data, so they are easily comparable. Other people, feel free to make spreadsheets with the data and share them, it's waiting to be used. I even made a blank one with all the characters on the left. --Frames - Down Smash.xls (or up or forward) _____________________________________________________________________________ 2.2.05 I got Omnigamer to make a video of a new useless technique I discovered, the Super Duper Wavedash. It goes farther than is useful, and doesn't have any practical advantage over the Super Wavedash, but it's cool anyway. I also edited a part of it to show the SDWD in real time. --Super Duper Wavedash.wmv --SDWD in real time.mpg I finally have reached a stopping point on the frame research. I finished getting all the ledge data, and also got the earliest FF times for ledge jumps and any other attacks I thought FF'ing was relevant for. I'm still missing some B moves on some characters, but I really don't care about them and won't do them until someone asks. The lists could be cleaned up a bit, but that's something I can do over time, and for now, the content is nearly all there. That means that now people can construct, like, spreadsheets for each attack that compare the times between characters. Maybe someone can even make some kind of VB (visual Basic) program with searches and crap? If anyone will, it sure isn't me. I updated the Terminology and research remaining documents as well, and put Mew2King's requests in a seperate document. Those of which that I didn't already finish, that is. www.angelfire.com/games5/superdoodleman/frames.html ______________________________________________________________________________ 1.22.05 I have all the Minneapolis vids. Yikes. I fooled around with my AR BTT scorecard and made a blank version of it, so anyone can get one and keep easy track of their scores. The rows and columns add up to the total for each, and there's a grand total that shows...well... the grand total, should any 2 people happen to finish every combination of character/stage and want to compare. It also has each character's own stages X'd out for that character, and shows n/a for stages which certain characters can't complete (to the best of my knowledge). AND I added a nifty "calculator" that does the math of subtracting the time you ended with from the time you started with. Because thinking can be hard. --AR BTT blank scorecard.xls ______________________________________________________________________________ 1.13.05 I have almost all videos made from the Jan 1st Minneapolis tourney. Some I need names for, and am waiting on, but there are 44 fights new. --21 1v1 fights with ingame sound (all others have music) --4 casual teams matches --9 teams matches from RR's and finals --10 1v1 matches from RR's and main bracket I also updated the Awesome Index, which lists every fight movie I have ever made, including tournament fights (which includes FC and MPLS) and I also added the first fight I ever recorded, which I left off originally for some reason... --AwesomeIndex1.13.05.xls The Awesome Index lists the filename, stage, real and screen names of all 4 players (if known), characters used, # of fighters, game conditions (stock, time, stamina, etc), method of recording, the event it was recorded at (if applicable), and whether/what music was added. I also am putting this very document on my website, so absolutely ANYONE (with internet) can get it. This and the Awesome Index can be found at www.angelfire.com/games5/superdoodleman/awesomearchive.html I also got all the Smash 4 Cash 2 videos as well. ______________________________________________________________________________ 1.7.05 FINALLY got back my 10 gigs from my brother's computer. I now have ALL my fights as well as many other peoples' fights, a few tournaments, EVERYTHING. Although it's all real old stuff, it's back here again. Also, I have 5 hours of tapes from the recent Minneapolis tournament, but am having some technical difficulties with my new capturing hardware. Oh well. Stuff happens. Since I haven't updated this document in a while, I'll mention some videos I've had for a while, but YOU may be hearing about for the first time. --Float Cancelling 2 The bigger better sequel --MarthRoy Damages Shows the damages of Marth and Roy's A moves -- -Gravity (high or low quality) Shows a glitch where a character maintains their upwards momentum on the ceiling --The Dance Floor Music video featuring fights from Beezo 3 on Final Destination --AR BTT personal bests log Keeps track of my times of using characters on others' BTT stages. I have totals for only 3 characters. I wish this would catch on, because it's fun. -----FRAME DATA----- Some of you may know that I've been documenting the frame data of each of the 26 characters. And if you didn't, now you do. This includes the frames an attack does damage, makes you (partially) invincible, the total duration of an attack, if and when it can be interrupted, and more stuff I can't remember. Also is shield stun time, but that is VERY tedious and I only have any for 2 characters, and I'm not likely to do any more unless specifically requested. I have a list of what things I have left for which characters, most notably being ledge data (stand, roll, attack, jump) and select B moves. I'm almost done. Feel free to request something I don't have, or let me know if I'm wrong anywhere, 'cause I'd like to know if I am. Speaking of requests (if anyone is still reading all this crap) I'd appreciate help in organizing my Misc 1v1 videos. They come from all over the place, and I often have no idea where or when they occured. Any info would be appreciated ______________________________________________________________________________ 1.1.05 With the acquisition of a HUGE external hard drive, I am officially bringing the Awesome Archive back into full swing. I still need to get 10 gigs back from my brothers computer, and get all that crap sorted out, but it will happen, at long last: all my SSBM videos in one place, with no fear of running out of space! For the first time in practically forever, I have new vids that aren't from a tournament! I recorded a 2-hour session of myself and AaroSmashGuy, the Terror of the Twin Cities. Not all the fights were captured properly, so I omitted them. Seriously, who wants to see my Mewtwo get his ass beat? --13 fights featuring SDM and AaroSmashGuy Also, I finally captured and rendered a tape from what could be called (and I am calling) the Final Hours of MELEE-FC, which happened at Joshu and Iggy's house. Myself, Bob (aka Camper Bob aka x1372), lpkdm, and Morbid, played a bunch of games. --6 1v1 matches featuring x1372 --5 free-for-alls --3 Special Melees (1 video contains all 3) Something else I did is take a fight Teflon Climbers made of himself vs DA Dave from TG6 and added music to it. I think it comes together pretty well. --1 fight with added music ______________________________________________________________________________ 4.24.04 update I got 3K Game and Watch. Rearranged HRC videos. ______________________________________________________________________________ 4.18.04 update I got an Action Replay, and have taken a liking to using Captain Falcon on other characters' Break the Targets levels. There are 4 videos so far. Once I break 70K in HRC (whenever I feel like recording) I'll rearrange all my HRC videos. For the better! ______________________________________________________________________________ 3.24.04 update I made an Excel document that shows who uses what character on what stage in all my fights (125) and other info. Maybe I'll make a search engine of some kind later on. For now you have to scan with your eyes for particular things you want. I also made a video about Peach's new infinite wallbombing tactic. I guess I was the 2nd person to know about it after RyokoYaksa!! (probably not, but it's nice to feel somehow important) ______________________________________________________________________________ 3.11.04 update Recorded a bunch of fights against Dense Goo's Ness, again with added music versions ______________________________________________________________________________ 2.20.04 update They're all done and shared. ______________________________________________________________________________ 2.3.04 update A few matches of me as various chars vs Sean (Dense Goo) 's Ness. They all have alternate versions with music, since the commentary was generally lame. NEW NEW NEW!!! Marc, this guy at my college I smash with, is experimenting with various ways of recording onto his computer. We have a bunch of fights, some with no sound, some with direct sound, and some with ambient sound (aka Clackety Clack mode) Among those fights are some of the very first if not THE first 2v2 Wavebird matches to be distributed. There were two instances of recording for long periods of time, so those need yet to be broken up into individual fights. They should be done this week. ______________________________________________________________________________ 1.20.04 update Epsilon 3 has gone public. ______________________________________________________________________________ 1.9.04 update Epsilon 1 has gone public. ______________________________________________________________________________ 1.2.04 update More commentated matches, and a preview for a new series of videos about me and my crew. I deleted all my mpgs because they took up too much space. ______________________________________________________________________________ 11.26.03 update First time ever commentated matches. Special indeed, because they come in wmv or mpg format, for your viewing pleasure. 12 fights. New Young Link hrc score (and musical counterpart). ______________________________________________________________________________ 11.17.03 update Recorded many fights between me, Mike, and Marc, including a bunch of special melees. Made a video about jump cancelling grabs. 10000 and PeachLuigi have exciting musical accompaniment!! wmv only ______________________________________________________________________________ 11.11.03 update Finally got a recording of me getting 8k Ganondorf. Also videoed all my scores and my total. wmv only ______________________________________________________________________________ 10.30.03 update SEVEN new match vids against Marc, a new opponent (gasp) and a music video to answer Dense Goo's, entitled "Peach Slams". wmv only ______________________________________________________________________________ 9.1.03 update 2 new HRC scores, and the debut of MUSIC HRC RECORDS!! My highest HRC scores, with music instead of the usual sound. Enjoy! You better enjoy it, because this is the last update I can make for about six weeks, due to me being at college. Actually, chances are I won't be able to have any new material until Thanksgiving, or maybe even Christmas. ______________________________________________________________________________ 8.30.03 update I finally have a mpg version of the Float Cancelling video that works. It's not entirely bug free, but it has all the important stuff in the right order now. New HRC scores with Peach, Ganondorf, Yoshi, and Captain Falcon. And Bowser. The tournament I held several weeks ago now has finally some videos on here. I have named it "Roseville Small 1" since it's my first tournament hosted, it was very small, and it took place in Roseville. More info in it's folder. Sadly, there were many technical complications, and the fights are only in wmv format. ______________________________________________________________________________ 8.04.03 update I discovered that the mpg version of my Float Cancelling video is messed up. Some of the clips have moved into a different order mysteriously. The wmv version is fine, though. I also am changing the update log so the newest stuff is on top. ______________________________________________________________________________ 7.31.03 update NEW VIDEOS Float Canceling - It's like l canceling...just watch it. It's INFORMATIONAL!! Fox Domination - Music video about Dense Goo beating me Peach7.31.03 - A new personal best in HRC for Peach ______________________________________________________________________________ 7.26.03 update A lot of fights A few HRC updates DECISION TO MAKE AN UPDATE LOG ______________________________________________________________________________ 7.17.03 update Mostly HRC, only 1 fight
